Development and evolution of design systems, color palettes, and packaging to scale with the growing haircare brand.

Ceremonia is a clean hair care brand rooted in Latinx heritage.

From Junior Brand Designer to Assistant Creative Director, I grew with Ceremonia from its earliest days — six months old, only four products, and a clear ethos — all the way to its launches into Sephora nationwide and major beauty retailers across the globe.
Grounded in ritual, clean ingredients sourced from Latin America, and an unapologetic visual identity, Ceremonia sought out the representation that had been missing from beauty for too long, building a brand that finally spoke to a community the industry had long overlooked. The creative work was always in service of something bigger: a brand proving that cultural identity can be the creative foundation, not an afterthought.
Latin American landscapes and hero ingredients, such as Guava, Papaya, and Aloe Vera inspire the color palette. I evolved this palette across growing collections and extended the color blocking approach, originally built for packaging, into digital channels, accessories, and visual merchandising.
Few roles offer the creative ownership that Ceremonia did. Packaging, campaigns, digital channels, merch, events, and retail — all grounded in a visual system built to scale.
